Information We Collect
We collect information through our application process and during the research session. This includes your name, contact details, and information you provide us about your background. We also record the focus group discussions so that we can review participant feedback and use it for our research purposes. Prior to the start of focus group discussions, selected applicants will be asked to display government-issued identification in order to verify their identity, adulthood, and current U.S. residency. We do not retain any data, image, or recording of your identification. We never collect Social Security numbers or bank information and nobody from our office will ever ask you for such information.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to screen applicants, contact you about potential research sessions, manage your participation, and in connection with our research purposes.
Confidentiality and Security
Confidentiality is paramount. All participants are required to sign a confidentiality agreement and must not disclose, record, or share session content. We maintain strict data-security practices and only retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the research session.
Third Parties and Contact
We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist with our research operations. We may also use your recorded responses with third parties in connection with our research purposes, but we never sell your personal information to third parties.
